This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Scientists learn about their subject by observing, describing, and experimenting.

The world around us is fascinating and learning about it can be fun and interesting.

With this material I would like to create Science stations in our class.Using science stations is a great way to increase student engagement and responsibility. They encourage students to become active participants in their learning and move them toward greater ownership and agency. Additionally, the opportunity for small group work means I, as the educator, can guide the explorations by facilitating discussion and questioning.The station labs in my room are are going to be setting up for students to use several different learning styles to explore new information and reflect on their learning.
