Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I need enriching models, teacher resources and visual aids to enhance the students experience in my classroom.
My students have so much potential and need great visuals and experiences to engage them in science.
My students are diverse and economically disadvantaged in an urban school. These books, models, and great visuals will assist students in the content area of science.
This will not only be used in the classroom of a normal day, I also have weekly tutorials and Saturday School that I need different teacher tools to assist students in learning in a different way.
My Project
These wide variety of resources will update an older classroom, assist in student learning, and engage students. I am in need of models (solar system, plant cells, human skull and heart),new posters, review games like Bingo (content related IE. food chain bingo and chemistry bingo), and teacher resource books for activities to engage students.
My students learn in a wide variety of ways- some reading, some visually, some by being competitive, and some by hands-on activities. In order for me to serve my students, I need tools like science models and games to create that environment.
Please assist my students in developing their education.
These supplies will enrich my students' experience in my classroom. These will give alternative activities for Saturday Schools and Tutorials.
