Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The water table will help the children in many ways from sensory play by touching the water, learning about sink and float, along with how water flows and moves. The bug specimens are perfect for the children to hold and examine butterflies, spiders, and leaves.

When a child can experience holding the bug without the fear of it being able to "hurt" them, it can help make them less afraid of the things around them.

The dinosaurs will help teach the children about animals of the past. The stepping stones will help the children with gross motor skills such as balancing.
