This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We want to use different resources to understand the world we live in. We like to look to stories and digital content for new ideas.
My students are energetic and exciting learners who like looking at the world through different lenses.
We like to explore other cultures and perspectives. Students in my school like to read about other cultures and opinions. As students we work hard to experience the world around us in new a inventive ways.
My Project
We will be using Brain Pop to understand concepts we can't put our hands on. We will be using the books to develop ways of thinking and justify our answers using text. Both resources will help us develop into better writers. We can't wait to get started in our literacy circles.
This project is important for broadening students views on the world.
It allows them to experience different types of stories and nonfiction. Students will engage in literature discussions and improve their justifying skills.
