Science Comes Alive

Help me give my students a magazine titled, Science World. This magazine is great to enhance the learning that is going on in the classroom.

My Students

I teach at GBPMS. I have a total of 140 students per day. They range in age from 12-13 and it is a heterogeneous group, and diverse both economically and culturally. I love that my students are eager to learn about Science and enjoy coming to class.

We are a STEAM school which means we integrate technology, engineering, arts and math into our curriculum.

I would love to have my students get their hands on these great Science Magazines to explore more about Life Science.

My Project

I have chosen to purchase the Science World Scholastic Magazine. This magazine enhances the Life Science Curriculum and teaches students about real-life experiences that are happening now. The students will be able to read the articles in the magazine and learn about Science in the real world. Even though I teach Life Science, curriculums are now being integrated across the board. By having these magazines my students will be able to integrate reading, Social Studies, and Science all from this one magazine.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

My students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand and get excited to learn more Science.
