Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are in the Highest Poverty, At-Risk Academically, Socially and Economically demographic area. They need opportunities of technology and updated classroom working tables. This is a beginning Google Chromebook Classroom. Our Science Class requires project based and collaboration to stimulate science models and techniques for student achievement. Our class is in need of Chrome Cart for charging the Chromebooks, adequate tables and chairs for teaching.
The increase use of grouping tables for Chromebooks for research stimulates learning and awareness of college readiness and the global carbon footprint for them to set goals in the world to be future leaders.
By providing new tables fit for science labs, this clean safe space will rejuvenate success and self-esteem. A safe environment and opportunities for visual and tactile experiences, while learning research and writing in content area of science.
My Project
The rectangle tables will be used in Science Class/Lab to provide students with a clean, safe, collaborative, and lab environment. The students are required to use NGSS strategies in Science, which requires group/table work. Our tables are wobbly and 15 years old. This often cause liquids and material to fall on the floor, which is carpeted. Please consider helping my class in funding tables and then look for the chair grant to complete safety in the classroom. I really believe a proper, safe, and clean environment will stimulate positive classroom aurora and student self-esteem. They are worthy to have the best area to learn and work, so I am asking!
