This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When I was offered this position, I was promised a curriculum. After I accepted the position, I found out said curriculum didn't exist! It being my first year teaching this subject and this grade, I have been building all the lessons and activities from scratch. Having a Teachers Pay Teachers allowance to supplement my lessons with fun and engaging activities and worksheets would make such a difference in my class! I like to offer my students different modes of learning so no matter what their learning style is, they get a lesson that works for them.
