My Students

Can you imagine the learning that is possible if students are exposed to STEM resources? As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

Our school serves students in grades PreK-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.

Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college.

My Project

My students need games and activities that focus on the Science and Discovery to explore with at Learning Center time. I am asking for your help with obtaining Science Instant Learning Centers and Science Stations. Our students will use these materials to explore various areas of Science. These activities will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together. They will be able to use these manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, learning about their senses, animals, nutrition, weather and seasons. Your generous donation to our project will improve our Kindergarten classroom. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel success at an early age, having fun while learning!
