This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's incredibly important for students to be given the opportunity to explore science standards that are not specifically taught to them. I'm looking forward to putting these science bins to use when students are finished early or need a moment away from "the regular" structure of learning in a classroom.

Science bins allow for exploration and discovery to take place.

Students are able to take out a science bin, which is very similar to them exploring STEM bins on their own. This allows for wonderings to take place and creativity with education to happen.
