Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With a wide range of ability levels, it is important to have a wide range of learning materials that meet the interests and needs of each individual child.

Because of this, we are in need of art, geography, science and independent seating, to accommodate the interests of each student.

We plan on using these materials to help elevate their interests in the world around them.

My goals for this is to take each student interest and build upon their previous knowledge to increase their excitement and knowledge on the topics they enjoy, as a way to increase math and reading fluency.

The art supplies will encourage fine motor, and creativity. The geography information will create awareness of the world around them. The bean bags will encourage independent seating, so they will have a fun place to sit and read. The kinetic sand supports sensory awareness. Lastly, the organization supplies are needed to help us keep things in order.
