My students need a new printer and science materials in the classroom.

As a new teacher I find it frustrating to not have the necessary resources to maximize the full potential of every child in my classroom. I lose precious class-time every day trying to overcome aging/malfunctioning technology in my classroom.
I have a 2nd grade classroom with 19 students.
We live in Mississippi, in a low income school district. The school has an at least 80% free or reduced lunch rate. My students' favorite time of the day is math and science. As a teacher, I feel like it is my job to channel my students' passions into skills that will increase the possibilities of future employment that will guarantee the betterment of their lives.
My students need a new printer and science materials in the classroom. My classroom printer is currently unusable. To complete Accelerated Math assignments, I have to leave my classroom in the hands of an assistant and walk across campus to the main office in order to print individual assignments for each student in my classroom. This process can take up to half an hour per trip. Due to the nature of the program, these assignments have to be printed during the school day (after a student turns in each assignment) and we only have approximately 90 minutes per day to cover math. Several of the children in my classroom receive little to no help at home and every minute in the classroom is precious. My students adore Accelerated Math, however due to the malfunctioning printer in my room, we only complete Accelerated Math two to three times per week. I am also requesting the 2nd grade Can Do! Science Pack. These resources will further increase their interest in science and assist in developing interests that could lead to better career opportunities.
I wholly believe that the students in my classroom could potentially be the next generation of lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc., if they only had the inspiration and resources to help them realize their potential.
Many of my students believe that their lives will go no further than the city boundaries. I believe these resources could assist them in seeing the world outside of their expected realm of possibilities.
