My Project

In 2nd grade we are such a basis for the beginning of science and social studies. We take the skills learned in first grade and extend to indepth understanding. In order to effectively do that we must have curriculum and resources to use! Science and social studies matters. It is the explanation of life in so many ways.

We want for our students to learn, know, understand, and enjoy learning these subjects.

These materials will help us to teach these lesssons in a tangible and realistic way.

We love the Scholastic News that is used in the older grades and would to incorporate them with 2nd grade also.

Our Flat Stanleys travel in 2nd grade and the US map will assist us in plotting and see where each one has traveled.
