Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am always looking for new science and sensory activities for my students. My students are incredible tiny humans with incredible potential. Sometimes the tools we are given are not enough (i.e. regular school chairs, work sheets vs. hands on projects) to truly teach the students in the way they learn best. These items will help to enrich the classroom.

Recently my students showed interest in the flexible seating balls, when they were able to try them during P.E.

I would love to be able to provide my students with their own flexible seating ball! The use of this type of flexible seating can increase focus, as well as increase core strength and increase one's metabolism.

I also love to introduce scientific topics and experiments to my students, as it explores ideas and concepts that some of them haven't experienced before. I would LOVE to show them microscopic items through a microscope! The marble run and the activity where you can watch the roots grow will be wonderful STEM activities to introduce them to.

There are some other objects in there that I need for everyday classroom teaching, such as ink for my printer.
