My students need an easel and chart paper that are easily accessible in order for me to model and students to practice current math and science concepts!
I will be teaching at a new school this year and have been welcomed with open arms. Each and every student eagerly comes to school every day to learn and interact with myself and each other. The students view school as a second home and I really want them to feel welcome each time they walk in.
My school is a Title 1 school and with that means our needs are somewhat different from that of other schools.
Although we have many, and different needs, it does not replace the love my students have for school.
The students are eager to learn ALL subjects, especially science and math. Both of these subjects are so interactive and I want students to be engaged during all lessons and activities.
My Project
To help my students become better scientists and mathematicians, there is a big emphasis on me as the teacher, to model what students should be doing. An easel with chart paper and storage will really benefit my classroom and my students' learning, so that we can explore math and science together.
This easel, chart paper and storage will help my students to be organized while exploring the aspects of science and math.
As a result of this organization, I can model classroom expectations and students can "explore" in a managed space.
It is always my goal to create lifelong and independent learners and I feel this project will do that and more!
