I am a Title 1 teacher and I have been an avid Donors Choose user for almost a year. THANK YOU! We love you! My kindergarten students love receiving packages and having new toys to use for learning. In the past I have decided what to ask for from you. This time I decided to see what my students would like to have added to our classroom. They asked for several things, some of which I incorporated into this proposal. They would like Science tools and more books. I think I have found items to fit those requests and our learning needs. I would like to add seasons and weather books, a GeoSafari talking microscope, and Can Do! Science games. These supplies would allow for independent learning and reading, as well as class instruction and skill reinforcement. By funding this proposal we would receive 8 books, 4 science games, and an interactive microscope. My students are interested in Science and love new and exciting ways to learn. We also love to be read to as well as read stories on our own. These books would provide essential fiction literature to our classroom library. The science games and microscope would provide a new learning tool as well as independent exploration. Please help us integrate Science into our curriculum.
