This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a class of 5th grade scholars who are curious, creative and active. My students come from a variety of backgrounds, and have experiences beyond their years.

My students need a peaceful place where they can feel safe making mistakes.

My students will continue to set goals, learn from their failures, and celebrate their success.

They will enter the world prepared to take on even the most challenging situation, knowing they have the skills to overcome any challenge that comes their way.

My Project

By funding this project, you will provide my students with materials they need to have a deeper understanding of weathering, erosion and deposition.

The creation of meaningful lab notebooks will help them with mastery of earth science concepts that will bridge their elementary studies to middle school science.

In addition to science materials, my students will benefit from modern, current literature that will spark and nurture a love of reading. These novels will enlighten my students on new topics and perspectives.

With your help and funding on this project, my students will have more of what they need to be successful.
