We need an Outdoor Garden Kit, Root Viewer Garden on a stand, Flower Mini Dome class kit, and a Veggie and Herb Garden Kit to help us learn about the plant cycle and help to beautify our school! We are going to create an afterschool club with mini lessons about how a plant grows and agriculture.

About My Students
Kayla is an 8th grade student attending High school in the community. She would like to lead an after school science/gardening club at the elementary school to help teach the elementary students about science, as well as help to beautify the school.
She is a member of the FFA and agriculture class at her school. She enjoys working with the elementary students, and helping out in the community. Currently, there are not many opportunities at the elementary school for after school activities. She would like to be able to provide some fun, educational activities for the students.
We are going to have an afterschool science club led by a high school student, working with elementary students. We are going to learn about science and agriculture and grow our own plants and vegetables. We are going to learn about the process, and also help to beautify our school by planting our flowers for all to enjoy!
In Their Own Words
I want to start a gardening club at the local elementary school. I want to show the children how plants grow, and what plants need to survive. It will help the children in their future studies, and it will also create a better school environment. It will make our school a better place in general. With the Outdoor Garden Kit, Root Viewer Garden on a stand, Flower Mini Dome class kit, and a Veggie and Herb Garden Kit requested I know I can make it happen.
I plan to lead a group of younger students and give them the opportunity to share their work with other children and the teachers at school. I want to help them to create something that they are proud of, and that they can share with the community. At the same time, gardening teaches them an important skill.
It will help to teach the students about science. Next, it will help to beautify the school, making it a better place to learn. It will make kids want to come to school to participate in this wonderful opportunity. They will learn an important skill set when completing projects with this gardening club.
