This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is a group of Title I students who will have their educational opportunities expanded through this grant. They come to school ready to learn and try new things! They strive to be leaders and scholars everyday.

My students come from diverse backgrounds, but one thing they have in common is their love for learning!

It is my privilege to be their teacher and witness the amazing moments of understanding, struggle, and growth that take place in our classroom. They are curious young learners.

My Project

The clipboards will allow students to work comfortably during whole group instruction on the carpet. During instruction, there are times when it is most effective for my students to work on the carpet so I can closely monitor them and give them instant feedback.

The Legos, Lincoln Logs, modeling clay and magnets are all materials that require students to think creatively.

These materials will allow students to use their STEM skills in a unique way. The recess equipment will be available to students to be more active during recess. The Legos, Knex, Lincoln Logs, modeling clay, and magnets will also be used during indoor recess days and as rewards and incentives for students.
