Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am asking for tri-fold display boards, card stock for board labels, and copier paper to print pictures/information for student's science fair projects. These materials will make a difference in the student' learning process and improve their experiences at school because they can participate in the 6th grade Science Fair. Students are required to do two Science projects a year. One project is in the Fall, and the other is the Spring Science Fair. Not many students could do the Fall project because their families could not afford the required materials.

As their teacher, I do not have enough monetary resources to purchase everything needed for all students to participate.

The Science Fair is essential to students and the school. It allows students to show their talent, display all they have learned in the school year, and win prizes and ribbons for their efforts.

Every student wants and needs to participate, so having all the necessary materials will enable all of them to create a quality project and learn a great deal about Science. Achievement is all about the ability to show what they have academically learned about Science and benefit from project-based learning.
