My Project
Each student that enters my classroom has a unique learning style that needs to be discovered. Additionally, the majority of students face executive functioning challenges that can get in the way of their progress.
By providing a calm and inviting environment with flexible light and flexible seating I can help guide my students to self regulate, which will allow their brain to be ready to learn.
With these materials I can create multiple learning environments in my room to cover the multiple needs of my students. These include foundational academic skills, cognitive flexibility, emotional control, attentional control, self monitoring and self control skills.
