Help me give my students Bob Books Workbooks. They love reading the Bob Books, so I think they will love having the Bob Workbooks to continue learning. Also, space-themed pencils, sharpeners, and bookmarks.
This is the first year of school for many of my Transitional Kindergarten students, but now, these curious kiddos are stuck at home, some without internet or computers.
We have a very diverse group of learners from various areas of the district, but one thing they have all shared is that they are bored as can be and really miss school.
My kids are the children who are turning 5 during the first 4 months of the school year. Transitional kindergarten is not available at every school in the district, so we have learners from various neighborhoods, some of whom are English Learners (representing 9 different languages).
My Project
My students are bored being stuck at home, but love learning. They also love Bob Books. These will help all my students who are at various levels retain skills and practice handwriting. Since many of my students are English Learners, my plan is to record myself doing certain pages, so the students and families can follow along. This is something my families without internet can do on their phones.
My wish is for them to be Kindergarten leaders and to share everything we have learned over the year in TK with the new students who join our community.
My wish is that a lack of access to technology will not hold them back. My wish is also to keep them engaged and independent in their learning. Thank you so much for your support.
