Help me give my students social skills books, book bins to store the books, colored paper, tablecloths, labels and more supplies for our SWPBIS (School-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention Support) program!
My students are special because I am building these students to become active learners and students. Many of my students have unique needs that we are meeting every day to help shape them into learners. Kindergarten and first grade are the building blocks of these students' futures. My students all come from different backgrounds and experiences so my lessons are all geared to their experiences and how to make them the most successful in the school and how they can best learn!
My Project
These supplies and materials will make a difference in my students' learning because we are very proud to be a PBIS School (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) My students will need colored paper, mailing labels, thank you cards, prizes, and social skills books to enhance our program. The paper will be used for our reward system tokens, the mailing labels will be used for information for parents to be returned to school, and the thank you cards are for all the teachers and staff to put in a lot of effort to make our school run smoothly and follow the SWPBIS program! Our school follows a school-wide positive behavior system approach that is extremely successful. Because we all use the same behavioral system, our teachers, staff, parents and students know the expectations and consequence. I also think the social skills books will help students understand the expectations a little bit deeper in some small group sessions. A school-wide positive intervention support program takes a lot of work in order for it to be successful!
