My Project

At Lana'i Elementary and High School, a small team of passionate teachers have developed an amazing mural project that will boost a positive school culture. Our goal is to unite grades Pre-K through 12 and give the older students the experience of working with elementary students by creating a dynamic and inclusive project. Every student at the school will be contributing something creative to this project.

My goal as an art teacher is to give my students the confidence to express themselves and to be responsible and compassionate human beings.

The students at Lana'i Elementary and High School are very shy ,and I believe this mural will give them social experiences and creative thinking processes that will help them learn and grow! All of the paint and art supplies for this project will be used to create this mural and I know that the students (especially the elementary students) will be talking excitably about their painting at the school for years to come.
