My Students

Students here represent a wide variety of cultures, ethnic groups, orientations, religions, and genders. The entire campus has over 600 students from neighborhoods throughout East Bay from Richmond up to Hercules.

Film and Multimedia is a Pathways, Career Technical Education, program designed to give students a professional edge in the film industry.

There are over twenty students in the first year of the program seeking career readiness education from local industry professionals. They're excited about a career in film and multimedia!

My Project

The Film and Multimedia Pathways Career Technical Education program has students produce films in a variety of genres, including: educational, creative, documentary, journalism, interviews, how-to, school announcements, and news. Televisions will allow students to broadcast their work around campus. Over 600 students will be able to watch these productions on campus.

H Middle School's CTE Pathways program will be broadcasting films produced by students and staff for educational topics and creative arts.

Having televisions installed throughout the school campus allows students and staff to stay connected to the school broadcasting. Students can watch educational videos produced and created by their peers while they eat lunch, before and after school. The scanner allows students to check out camera equipment to create these films, and have it tied into the district Destiny librarian catalog.
