This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since beginning my role as Student & Family Resources Navigator at our middle school, the first big need brought to my attention was school uniforms. Students were being left with no choice but to take home extra clothes from our lost and found.

Students are dealing with one of the most difficult academic years of their life; they shouldn't have to worry about the clothes they will need to wear.

In addition to uniforms, students need encouragement to continue performing academically. At HMS, we celebrate students by having a ceremony and provide snacks.

Please help us provide our students with the necessary items to succeed.
