My Students
My school is located in Baltimore, Maryland. I teach in a middle school classroom. It's a pretty small school in comparison to many other schools in our area.
How can I describe my students?
Bold. Outspoken. Inquisitive. Smart. Silly. Funny. Those are just some of the words that come to mind when I think of my students. My students push themselves to succeed and learn new things on a daily basis. I absolutely love my students, and I can't wait to see what positive things they contribute to the world.
My Project
In order to make the classroom run smoothly, I need to make sure that our class has the needed supplies to last us throughout the year. This project will help us make that happen.
We use chart paper and flip chart markers when we get in groups to share and present ideas.
We use highlighters and pencils to do annotations of texts for close-reading, as well as complete daily assignments. We need paper towels, multi-surface cleaners, and hand soap to keep surfaces and our hands clean so that we can remain as healthy as possible. All of these items students use daily in my class, and with over 85 kids, it needs to stay as fully stocked as possible. These supplies will keep us focused on what matters most: learning.
