Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love providing materials for my students to use. Not all families have the opportunity to provide their children with extra materials. Students use their laptops for reading, typing, math, and all other curricula. Headphones are a great way to help students who are struggling readers or English learners who need text-to-speech.

Some students also practice their language and speaking skills and will benefit from listening to the correct pronunciation.

The white boards allow for a low-risk opportunity to participate. Sometimes, students are too shy to answer for fear of being wrong. We use these whiteboards in our classroom for students to silently show me their work. I still see all participation, and students will feel comfortable.
