Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of my students want to learn in a classroom with supplies. Our classes have limited budgets for supplies and rely on parents to supply things our students need to make introductory learning accessible. In class, these materials will provide the opportunity for the kids to have those needs met and develop a sense of calmness. This helps them to build self-esteem, reduces anxiety and increases their ability to learn.

School supplies are a basic need for all students, and unfortunately, a need many in the community cannot afford.

By supporting this project it will give all students a chance to create a stable, comfortable and safe learning environment. This will enhance learning not only in the classroom but in their community and beyond.
