In our world today social justice work has been shown to not only be trending but necessary for our students to understand the world around them. Social Justice work begins with self reflection of one's own identity and how injustices have effected or not effected you. Then, with the help of mirror and windows in literary text and poster, strive towards action. Help me show students that social justice work can be learned and appreciated. This project will create an ABAR (anti-bias/Anti-racism) library on our campus. Its a collection of resources parents, children, teachers, and more may use to approach these topics in the classroom and at home.
