School Supplies

Help me give my students easel pads, pencils, erasers, and other basic classroom supplies that can be used throughout the new school year.

My Project

All students are in need of new school supplies every year. The school I teach at is a Title One funded school, and the majority of our families are considered low income. These supplies will take the burden of purchasing new supplies off of the families and make it so all students have exactly the same supplies to use each day. These materials will help my students be successful at completing tasks and learning at school. If we have students participate in distance learning next year, they will be provided the same supplies as well.

I work with a diverse population of students who have varying needs and benefit from interactive lessons.

The supplies that are being requested include pencils, poster board, sticky notes, glue and tape. All of these items will be used during interactive lessons. Using different colors helps students break up problems or readings, so they can focus on specific questions. I want to make sure they have everything they need to be successful at school and not have to worry about how they will get it.
