Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have 15 sweet and creative 2nd graders. The students that I teach are in a Title I school with all of our students receiving free lunch. My brilliant students try their best each and everyday and I feel so blessed to be their teacher.

My Project

My students need basic school supplies. For this project I have requested clothes pins and popsicle sticks for various crafts and projects to support their learning. I have requested paperclips to help keep papers organized and to use them as a spinner during centers. I requested crayons because each student gets new crayons at the beginning of the first and second semester. I also requested pencil boxes to keep their supplies organized. These basic supplies will be put to great use in my classroom. Thank you for your continued support.
