My Students

I teach at an NAESP-member school in the city of Memphis. My students come from all different backgrounds and each student has many different needs. I want the very best for my students, and I want to see them grow daily in their learning! We need your help in funding this project. I am always looking for resources and ways to bring fun, differentiated, and engaged learning into our classroom for my students. Please help me provide for my students!

My Project

My class is in need of replenishing some classroom supplies! We are reaching the end of our year but want to end it in the most successful way possible! In order to do this, we are in need a few things.

We need some crayons, paper, and stem supplies!

We use all three of these things daily. Crayons are used in many ways in our first grade classroom. We use them for art, as well as highlighting during reading comprehension. We are studying birds right now and use our crayons to draw and label all kinds of birds and the parts that make up a bird. Paper is needed to make copies for all of my students daily.

One of my student's favorite daily activities are our stem boxes. When they come in in the morning, they are able to choose a stem box to work with during morning announcements. I love to see their eager faces when they come in each morning to pick out their box. Whenever I find new items for these boxes, I get so excited! They love experimenting and building with all kinds of tools.
