Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
On a typical day my students are completing work and struggling to do so because of lack of supplies. My students are very eager and want to learn more every day. I have a range of students with different learning capabilities.
My students come from families that are low income and critical learning experiences happen at school.
My school is a Title I school, which means about 80% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. My students have run out of most of their school supplies and I have spent my own money trying to provide them with what they need. With constant turnover at our school it is harder for me to constantly provide supplies for their learning. The materials I am asking for will help them learn.
My Project
This project will ensure my students have what they need to be successful in class.I am asking for basic supplies crayons, pencils, glue, and scissors. Also, headphones so we can use electronic devices without disturbing others. The materials will be used daily so students can finish their work. My students will be able to write, color, cut, and glue various activities across all subjects. They will have their basic school supplies and headphones to complete their work. This will give my students better self confidence in knowing they are prepared for their day.
This project will help prepare my students for their daily school needs.
