School Supplies to Start Off the New School Year Prepared!
Help me give my students supplies to start the new school year. Many students come from low-income families and it is hard to pay for food and school supplies. Thank you for giving!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
This librarian is requesting Staples supplies to help the students and their families who can not afford new school supplies at the beginning of the school year in this tough economy.
Students visit the library for many reasons, including to obtain supplies to be successful in the classroom.
In the past few years, I have collected donations and purchased supplies, but lately, the donations are drying up and this is why I am asking for your support to start the school year right for many of our low-income students, and their families. Students can walk into the library and get what they need. I also tell them to take just what they plan to use to make sure that the next student can get what they need to be successful in the classroom. Our motto is respect, kindness, responsibility, and hard work. By having supplies at the beginning and ending of each school year, we help students achieve their educational goals.
Thank you for your assistance in helping our students be successful in school. This donation impacts students in positive ways and keeps students engaged in the learning process. Thank you for your support!
