Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach math to two classes of fifth grade students. Many of my students are eager to learn but do not come prepared with the supplies needed to make learning successful. A sharpened pencil makes all the dfference in getting our math problems done each day. We need pencil and erasers to work out problems and correct our mistakes.

Dry erase markers will be a great resource in working with math problems on our white board tables.

My students are able to quickly solve problems and show me their work and we can work out any misconceptions together.
