This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's no secret that schools struggled this past year as students and teachers learned to navigate a new world. Students fought and overcame many obstacles that we never could have anticipated. This coming school year, we are ready to dive in and make it the best year yet! In our biology class, we like to make the content as engaging as possible. Many of our students enjoy being creative and having fun as they learn. Every student learns from different methods of teaching. Having supplies like colored pencils, card stock, glue, and scissors allows us to use many different methods of teaching to ensure that every student is able to learn the material.

This project would allow me to provide each student with an individual set of supplies so that we can make biology class as engaging as possible.

Our hope is that students will be able to return to classes this fall with as normal of an experience as possible. These resources will help us to provide this experience, and engage students in the amazing world of Biology!
