My Students

Aloha, I am a first-year teacher in Maui, Hawaii. I teach 22 energetic third graders. My school is a Title I school, and many of these students come from low-income families, with free or reduced-price lunch. Hawaii is known as a melting pot for all ethnicities, and my classroom consists of a diverse community of learners.

As a first-year teacher, I am eager and excited to join my students on this learning journey and look forward to many accomplishments.

Please help me make this first year amazing by donating supplies to my classroom. I know my students will appreciate it when they walk in and see how amazing it looks!

My Project

Being a Title I school, many of my students came to school without everything on their school supply list. Throughout the year, students have had to share their own supplies between 2-3 peers and our pencil sharpener broke last month. We've had an extreme shortage of school supplies throughout the year and our supplies are not going to last until the end of the year.

With your donation, you will be providing my students with a new pencil sharpener, pencils, notebooks, expo markers, paints, etc.

My class is full of artistic students who love to color and paint. These supplies will allow my students to paint and color together rather than taking turns borrowing and sharing supplies.
