This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
To make sure my students are prepared for the learning ahead of them, I give each one a set of color-coded folders to ensure that they will be organized and on-task during instruction. They also need glue sticks, pencils, and labels for their folders and notebooks.
All of these items will help to keep the students organized and productive in their third grade year.
Purple is the folder we use for all unfinished work. Black is for homework. With each of the different colors, students will always know where their papers are. When things are organized, learning happens much more quickly and efficiently.
The labels will be used for notebooks in all subject areas. Each student will have a notebook to house all of their notes and papers that can be easily referenced throughout the year. The glue sticks will be used to glue in all the papers into those notebooks. Pencils will help them with their work as will the colored pencils. Students will be well prepared for this year with all of these requested materials!
