This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom needs school supplies like books, book bags, seat pouches, colored pencils, and caddies. My students deserve to have all the resources needed for children to learn and feel valued. Study shows ample evidence that one of the major differences between poor and good learners is the difference in the quantity of the total time they spend engaged in learning. The caddies and seat sacks will avoid interruptions and keep students' materials organized and easily accessible making instruction more effective for my young learners. The book bags will be used for students to take books home for reading daily practice to create successful and life-long readers.

All my students live in a poverty area in the city.

I want to give them the opportunity to experience a beautiful and fascinating world when they come to school. This way, we will be providing all students equal opportunities to learn and thrive.
