My Students

Our school is a Title I elementary school in an urban district. We are a high poverty school in which the majority of our students receive free/reduced lunch and come from very diverse homes. I love teaching and most of all love my students. I care so much for them and want them to have the best. Most of my students cannot buy school supplies for the year or replenish their school surplus throughout the year. I try locating or buying as much school supplies that I can afford. Your donation can help with making our school year a great success!

My Project

The school supplies I am requesting will tremendously help this year to be a smooth and successful one. It can be very stressful to the student, myself, and parents trying to locate or buy enough school supplies needed to start off school. School supplies are essential to learning. Many of our projects involve lots of creativity. Crayons are very essential to help create bright and colorful illustrations to their writing. It is difficult to focus on teaching and the students learning when our class doesn’t have the school supplies needed in order to learn.

Some students have to wait days or weeks to have all their supplies.

Some worry about not having all their supplies. When they don’t have all their supplies it affects their time management, organization, and motivation. Please consider helping my students this year.
