Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is full of vibrant, excited learners ready for new challenges each and every day! We are a pre-k through eighth grade, inner-city school and in every grade, we develop a strong classroom community to support one another.

My school is made up of students that are gifted, students with special needs and English language learners.

We fill our days with rigorous academics and extraordinary teachers.

My students all come from lower-income families that struggle each day to make ends meet. Many of these children face poverty and violence on a daily basis that is well beyond what most of us could imagine. Yet, the students do their best to learn. We try our best to give our students a good education and an introduction to the American way of life, but with limited resources, there are many things that others consider basic parts of education that we cannot provide without assistance. My school is very limited in the funds that teachers receive every year. Teachers go forward and buy their own supplies to help their students have a successful school year.

My Project

These school supplies will allow students to start the new school year with everything they need. If we cannot return to school, the school supplies will be delivered to my students, so they have the necessary supplies to help support and inspire their learning.

Please help me give my students essential school supplies to allow every student to learn safely during COVID-19.

Providing children in need with brand new grade-appropriate school supplies ensures that children are ready to start the new school year.

I'm requesting basic school supplies like notebooks, glue, scissors, pencils, erasers. This could sound basic but are essential for everyday use.

Families financially struggling may face the challenge of providing school supplies for their children this school year. I would love to ease the financial burden and stress by providing each student's learning supplies.
