This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very special first graders in a high-needs area of a borough in New York City. Most of my students are English Language Learners or children with special needs eager to learn and discover. Each student is unique in his or her own way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible. All of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.

Every donation makes a difference in my students' lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our physical and virtual classroom a joyful learning environment. Thank you!

My Project

By providing my students with the resources they need to learn and thrive, they will feel more confident and secure in their learning experience. When they come to school and don't have the supplies that they need, it interferes with learning and achieving our educational goals. With the proper materials in school and at home, my students will be prepared to learn about literacy, math, art, science, and more! You can give these students the tools they need to learn and the opportunity to grow as individuals by increasing their confidence. Help me create a learning environment where all students have access to the supplies they need. They will be able to strengthen their reading skills and math skills with teacher-made games. I am asking for school supplies such as binders, tape, paint, pencils, modeling clay, colored pencils, and pens to help create a learning experience for my students that ensures success.

Your donation will make a difference in the lives of the 28 students that I teach daily.

When my students are given the supplies they need, I will be able to teach lessons and activities where students will be able to maximize their learning! Your gift will be appreciated by my scholars for years to come!
