This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a Title One public school and teach about thirty, second grade, ELL students who are bright and eager to learn new things. Most students come from very poor economic background, but they come to school everyday with a passion to learn and succeed.

My Project

I recently bought highly engaging Task Cards and Hands-On Activities at Teachers Pay Teachers to meet the needs of my second grade students in Math and Science. I'm planning to use the colored papers to print these resources and I'm planning to laminate them so that multiple students can use it for years to come.

I am requesting basic supplies needed by students in a low income area.

This upcoming school year, I want my class to have what they need and just come to school to learn. These supplies will also be a huge help to me, as their teacher. You contribution to this project will be tremendously appreciated.
