Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I am requesting were chosen by the students in my class. We will use them to open up a class store to help motivate and reward my students. They love working for tangible items. Fidgets and stress balls are welcome in my room as many kids have a hard time sitting still. They also help with test anxiety. Bookmarks are very helpful for students that have a hard time finding the correct pages during instructional time or independent reading. Fun pens, and pencils make it more exciting to do their worksheets and learning cursive. The students have been earning points and tokens and are excited to be able to spend them on items of their choosing. My students are so kind hearted, and they like to buy things to give to their friends and family, so this will give them some great items to choose from. In their words "This is going to be so much fun!"
