My Project

Many families cannot afford to send snacks with their children to school. Teachers often pay out of pocket to ensure that no child in their class goes hungry.

I would like to start setting up a mini food pantry in our school district so that teachers can provide any hungry student with a quick, free snack.

Students learn best when they aren't hungry! Snack should not be a privilege - it's a basic need! This snack pantry will ensure that all students are well fed and can focus on learning.
