This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students and staff need to take mental breaks throughout their day. It would be fantastic to have a tea and snack station for everyone to go to when needing a moment.

A little snack can help boost your mood, and waiting for coffee or tea to boil can be the perfect few minutes to reset your mindset.

Mindful moments are essential parts of social emotional learning, and if we can provide a little bit more love in those moments by means of a snack, we can turn someone's day around. Students often come to school hungry and this would be a great resource for them.
