School Shouldn't Be All Work and No Play!

My students need Spikeball sets to have fun, socialize, and get some intense exercise at the same time!

My Students

My students come from across our urban school district. More than half are 1st or 2nd generation Americans, and many will be the first in their family to go to college. In fact, nearly 99% of our students go on to college.

In addition to their academics, my students have a vast array of interests and activities, such as community service, social justice, the arts, the classics, and sports.

Our school's mission is to prepare students for college and for global citizenship, so providing students with opportunities for new activities and experiences helps them become more well-rounded, confident, and curious.

My Project

My students like to work hard in school, but they also need to play hard for their physical and mental wellbeing.

Some participate in one of our sports teams; others like to hang out for a while after school for a fun, stress-free game.

In fact, our ping pong and badminton clubs came into being because of student interest and initiative. Now some students want to start a club for Spikeball, a new and immensely popular sport.

Spikeball can be played outdoors or indoors, and it is quick to set up and store. The really beautify of Spikeball, however, is that it provides both a good workout and some good fun.
