This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The ultimate reward for a teacher is knowing that I have the opportunity to impact a young person’s life. However, not every student is created equally, and this is a good thing. If every student were the same, teaching would be a boring job. Instead, it is an exciting and adventurous journey. Our students at Central are inquisitive, hardworking, involved, confident, and motivated. It is inspiring to see that our students want to be at school, they want to learn, and they want to succeed.

Central Elementary students are inner city students in a high poverty area where 100% of our students receive free lunch.

However this does not stop them from coming to school with positive attitudes and a willingness to learn. The relationships that our students forge everyday with faculty, staff, and their peers is the most important factor in their perseverance and success in school.

My Project

Please help us by donating to our project to get a security camera doorbell. Classroom/School security is as critical to the safety of your students and staff as perimeter access into our school. A quality learning environment is one that is safe. After all, students need to feel safe in order to learn.

We want to be proactive in school security and keep our students safe.

Keep in mind that as far as we know, there have been NO fatalities behind locked doors in any of the cases across the country. LOCKED DOORS are critical in these situations. We aim to keep our front doors locked at all times.
