School Play Needs Materials For Amazing Student Made Set!

My students need materials to make an amazing set for the school play. They are really excited to work together so that the cast has an amazing set/stage to work with!

My Students

Its not always easy to get students excited about school. I have NEVER seen them so into anything school related before. When they found out we would be performing Grease this year, they were besides themselves. They are so excited to make all the different scenes but we really need materials!

My students are great students.

They really want to do well and succeed in everything they do. They have a huge project in front of them designing the sets for Grease. But they don't shy away from a challenge. With the proper materials, I really believe that they can produce an amazing set and backdrop! I am so excited to see them work and see their faces when the set is done.

My Project

These materials will be used during and after school in order to create an amazing set and backdrop for Grease. Students will get the opportunity to come up with their own ideas and make a true student-created play. I know the cast is super excited and putting in a lot of hard work, but they need amazing sets to go along with it. These materials will go a long way! The paint markers will be used to outline the backdrop and on other props. The foam boards and foam board cutters will be used primarily on the car (go Grease Lightning!). They are really excited about that in particular. A lot of people don't realize how much goes into designing a set. The students are really learning so much about designing, drafting, building, painting, organizing, and how to reuse props in multiple scenes.

This project will really make a difference not only for the students involved in set design, stage crew, and the cast, but also for the entire school.

This play will really help bring the whole school together and is something exciting that we can all look forward to.
