My Students

My students, all 560 of them, are energetic, excited, and amped up about PE! They love learning new ways to move, new skills to use, and new games to play. I see kids in 1st through 5th grade and at all ages, they work hard, and play harder.

Our gym is the hub of physical fitness and health education in our school.

My students are running, jumping, sliding, throwing, kicking, hitting, and catching each week. By the end of class, all of the red, sweaty faces are smiling when they walk out the gym door.

My Project

We work hard and play harder here at our school! All 1st-5th graders try their best no matter what we do in PE. All our students treat the equipment respectfully but, when you have 560 students each week, things can start to wear down.

The junior and women's size basketballs will be a great addition to the gym so every student, no matter what size or skill level can practice their shooting/dribbling skills.

My kids LOVE soccer but with 25-30 in a class we have to take turns, so the new set of soccer balls and 4 pop up goals will be able to let the whole class play at once! New putters and batting tees will allow my kids opportunities to try new sports and movements that some have never even tried before.

The donations to this project will be appreciated, loved, and used by all 560 kids.
